I visited the Cancer Society and was allowed to walk around to get the photos you see here.
This building is run down looking from the outside, but as you can see from the photos
the inside has been quite well maintained and is very clean.

The personnel were pleasant and helpful, but unfortunately no one here speaks English.
The prices you see below are current as of March or April 2010, but prices are rising frequently.

Also there is the Cancer Society at the main free hospital in Porlamar (Luis Ortega). My
understanding of the free hospital cancer society is that they do an excellant job of treating
cancer patients. A friend of mine told me about a lady from Canada who had been treated
for cancer at home, but came here for the winter and needed continuing treatment. She
went to the free hospital and was VERY impressed with their help.

I hope to have information regarding the free hospital cancer society services soon.
