photo is of an employee, a customer, and the shelves lined with
mostly consumable items, like wound care dressings, sterile and
non-sterile gloves. And the glass cases in front of the customer
contain hospital instruments, suture materials, blood pressure cuffs,
stethoscopes, otoscopes and the like.

| KITMEDICAL
is just one of several medical supply businesses on the Island, and the
first one I had the pleasure of venturing into shortly after I came
here. A friend who lived here took me to this place one day when I was
in need of some wound care items. I quickly found what I needed and
have gone back numerous times since then to restock my cupboard. I'll just mention a few more of the items they carry, and then let you discover the rest. Shower chairs, products for the deaf, products for the diabetic, oxygen, surgical instruments and supplies, surgical gloves, wound care products, blood pressure monitoring equipment, and acupuncture supplies. This is by no means a complete list but will give you a small idea of what they carry. |

This medical supply place is very small, but it is packed with a LOT of medical and dental equipment and supplies as you can see by these photos. I have found items here that I could not find elsewhere. Sometimes when you need something you just have to go from store to store until you find it. |
He carries most all the same equipment and materials as the other medical supply places, but also has, or did the last time I was there about a year ago, some items they don't carry. You can browse around or ask if you don't find your item. NEW PHOTOS COMING SOON Unfortunately I lost the photo of Dr. Armando, the store owner and president. He says he learned his English in the US when he went to school in Iowa. However, like most other stores here his staff does not speak English, so he says if you need help to call him on his cell phone (no. above). |
