FARMATODO

farmatodo - outside
***Ave. Bolivar and Ave. Aldonza Manrique***

This is one of the big 'chain' pharmacies. Farmatodo is probably one of the busiest on the island. ***It is located directly across the street from the AB building and diagonal from Provemed.

Besides being a pharmacy, they also carry some medical supplies, such as: exercise balls and bands, gauze for bandaging, bandaids, tape, wound cleaning solutions, etc.

And they carry all the normal items that most pharmacies here carry. Items such as: cosmetics, some foods (drinks, snacks, boxed, canned, ice cream, etc), laundry detergents and softeners, drinking water, toys, some clothing/shoe items, beach items and other items too numerous to mention.

This store is only about 5 or 6 years old, plus newly remodeled early last year. I hope to have more photos soon, so stay toooned.

This is the entrance to the Provemed Pharmacy, one of the other big 'chain' pharmacies here. They are in a small strip mall on the corner of Av. Bolivar and Av. Aldonza Manrique and situated across from Farmatodo and AB building.

They would not allow me to take pictures of the store shelves as it was against corporate policy, which is understandable.
The pharmacy area. The gentleman in the background is the store manager and, I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention to the lady in the foreground blocking the view to him.

Most larger phamacies carry any medication you might need, but sometimes they are out. So you just go from pharmacy to pharmacy tll you find it.
Provemed carries a lot of medical supplies and equipment that you won't find at the smaller stores. This pharmacy carries things like wheel chairs, stethoscopes, surgical tape, ace wraps, dressing materials, braces, etc.

They also carry some grocery items like other pharmcies. And they have an Optical area called OptiCabuka where you can get prescription glasses.
